| Love and friendship make the world go 'round. |
My friend Brianna definitely deserves recognition as one of my “teachers.” Brianna, or Bri as my friends and I call her, is my best friend from seventh grade. Throughout the first year-and-a-half of middle school, I was rather introversive, and didn’t have much self-confidence. I didn’t have many friends either because the ones I made in elementary had either moved away or gone to different schools. However, after meeting Bri, we soon became best friends, and I no longer had to eat lunch with a group of people I didn’t even know but sat with in a lame attempt to not look socially awkward. Her sunny personality helped me get through the rough times, and overall she inspired me to be a more positive person myself. We no longer go to the same school, but we make sure to keep in touch over text message and occasionally meet up at the movies.
